Fall Maintenance

A healthy, beautiful property requires maintenance all year round. Here in the state of Maine, we know that Fall months require maintenance because of all of those red, yellow, and orange leaves falling off of our trees and covering our yard. We also know that fall means that winter is right around the corner, and winter tends to bring very cold temperatures and lots (and lots) of snow. 😰 This can reek havoc on our trees, bushes, and landscaping. So, what should you do this fall to maintain your property? Here are some of the things that we recommend.

  • Shrub trimming
  • Tree pruning
  • Fall cleanup (rake those leaves)
  • Clean your gutters
  • Apply winter fertilizes
  • Cut dead leaves and stems from perennials
  • Aerate your lawn
  • Protect your plants from rodents by wrapping them in mesh cloth

Remember that any maintenance, if done incorrectly, will only do harm to your property. Consider hiring a professional with the proper equipment, knowledge, and experience.
